Introduction to Industrial Valves

There are always lines in the industry where fluids are extremely dangerous and toxic. In these cases, any leakage of milk can cause adverse events. Also in the vacuum lines, the smallest leakage of milk causes the vacuum to disappear and virtually drains the system out of its proper direction.

In many industries, such as fluid mineral industries, they contain solid particles or, in other words, slurry. In all cases, conventional industrial valves are not suitable and diaphragm valves are used to operate the system reliably.

The diaphragm valve is a type of linear motion valve that can be used to cut and plug the current and adjust it. The reason for choosing this name for this model of industrial valves is the existence of a flexible disk in the middle of the valve. In fact, this disk is a diaphragm that can have different sexes.
The flexible diaphragm is attached to the compressor member by a bolt. Therefore, as the knob rotates, the compressor moves up and down, so the diaphragm connected to it also moves up and down. In this type of valve, due to the type of diaphragm, it is possible to leak around zero.

The best use of this type of diaphragm valve is to control the low flow rate. As a matter of fact, when the hub is rotated and the compressor moves upwards, the diaphragm rises slightly over the apparatus and allows a small amount of fluid to pass through. Then, as the compressor moves upwards, the diaphragm slowly lifts up and opens the fluid passage.
